I first used Tree Awareness back in the 90’s to take out 2 overgrown trees at my property in West Deptford. Both very large, and very close to the house. I used them again about 10 years ago for the same reason at my current property. When we had a wet heavy snow a few weeks ago, a tree that hangs over my roof and still has dead leaves on it, was so weighed down it was touching the roof, and the tree itself was leaning pretty precariously Towards the house. When I saw today that we might be getting 11”-15” of heavy wet snow this weekend, I was in a panic. I called them, assuming that they were probably booked solid, and they were. After explaining my situation to the office manager, she said let me see what we can do. She responded quickly, and even though they were booked solid, she went out of her way to make it happen. She had a crew here within the hour. Mason and his crew were both very professional, and personable. They got the job done quickly, and perfectly. I can honestly say after using them, 3 times now, that they are not only the best at what they do, but very professional, and accommodating. They go above and beyond. Their pricing is more than reasonable for the level of knowledge, and skill they possess. I also like that they are very focused on the health of the trees on your property, and don’t look to talk you into cutting trees down that don’t necessarily need to come down. Instead, in this situation, they suggested trimming the over hanging limbs, and canopy back, to make it safe with this storm coming. They could have easily said “it needs to come down”, and charged me quite a bit more. I would recommend Tree Awareness to anybody who needs tree work done professionally, and at a reasonable price. Paul and Kevin are amazing. Paul came out right away and we walked the property to discuss what I wanted done. He took his time and really listened to what I was hoping to accomplish. He is very knowledgeable and understood what I wanted and made some great recommendations. I also really appreciated his honesty as he explained why some things that weren’t necessary or shouldn’t be done. He then offered other solutions which worked out great.. I appreciated his knowledge and understanding of my vision and what could be done to achieve it. The team has been out twice already to do the majority of the work and will be out one more time as there were quite a few trees that needed to come down and a lot of work on existing trees and bushes. They were prompt, courteous, and did a fabulous job of cleanup. Other than the trees that are gone, you wouldn’t know they were even here. That says something for their level of professionalism- I am looking forward to next year and the next phase of work on the property. Working with Kevin in the office has been great and Watching Paul and his team work has been nothing short of outstanding.

Tree Awareness came to trim 3 trees. One is a clump birch that had many dead branches and I thought I might lose. They were very professional, cleaned up the yard, and answered my many questions. My trees look great now with their new haircuts. I have a small back yard and trimming the branches in the large tree made such a huge difference and opened up the whole area, and also will keep the branches from hanging over my clothes like and rubbing on my roof. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs/wants tree work done, and would give them 10 stars. I also want to thank Mia, who was very helpful in setting up the appointment and keeping me informed of the workers' timing; she is just the behind-the-scenes person you need to keep your business running smoothly!

Many tree services have truck labeling that indicates tree removal as their primary service, whereas Tree Awareness is focused on preserving the appearance, function and health of trees in this era, which poses so many challenges to tree health. Employees are supported with training and supervision, and it pays off. Excellent customer communication results in satisfaction. Paul is incredibly knowledgeable. When he arrived for the estimate, he immediately knew all of my many trees by name; and told me helpful details about their lifespans, strengths/weaknesses, and benefits to wildlife. I needed them to remove a fully dead tree that was within ten feet of my front windows, surrounded by several mature oak trees, and close to power lines. The guys did a great job. It was so impressive to watch! Not a single twig fell on the holly bushes I planted this spring, even though they were only a few feet away from the tree. They cleaned up after themselves and finished the whole operation in about an hour. So amazing!

Just want to say how great a job Tree Awareness did for me after a wind shear dropped a number of large trees on my property. Paul and his crew came in on a Saturday and cleared away in a couple of hours what would have taken me 10 weekends. They have the right equipment and they know how to use it. There were a couple of quotes under Paul's number but after discussing with Paul what had to be done, neither of the other companies came across as professional or were going to do as much as Paul's team would do. Tree Awareness recently performed tree removal services for us. We had a red maple and a hydrangea removed (both were beautiful but just too large for the space.) Tree Awareness kept us informed regarding the removal process and the timeline, and everyone I spoke with was very knowledgeable. They were also very cautious during the removal process so as not to cause any damage to neighbors' cars, etc- very important given that we live in a townhome and have neighbors immediately to each side. Overall a fantastic experience, and I would not hesitate to call them again for future needs.

True awareness was at our home yesterday for removal of five trees. The trees were right on our property line with a neighbors fence below and trees leaning towards our neighbors property. Paul and his crew expertly removed the trees without causing any damage to anything. Paul and his crew were very professional and workmen like and got the job done in one day. They have the equipment to do difficult jobs such as this one. I would not hesitate to use them again for any tree work required on my property and you should keep them in mind if you need them for your tree work needs.

Used Tree Awareness 15+ years ago to remove a large oak tree very near the house. I was impressed with the care they took in dropping the limbs without damaging anything. In the ensuing years we've had other trees removed or trimmed by whoever was already working in the neighborhood. Our experiences with those folks varied. When we decided to remove a couple of smaller, but awkwardly placed trees, we called Tree Awareness. They came out and did the job quickly, cleanly, and respected the property like it was their own. No regrets. Would absolutely recommend them.

We have been entrusting the care of a giant old red oak in our back yard for the last ten years. The tree is very close to our house, with many overhanging branches, and when a big one that showed signs of decay fell on our patio recently, we decided after consulting Paul that it was time to “retire” the old giant. Rick expertly operated a big crane, Mason managed a crew on the ground, and after only two days of skilled & efficient work, the tree was safely removed. Called them for quote to trim a large Holly tree in the back of our house. They responded the very next day, looked at the work, and sent a quote. I agreed to the reasonable price and work was scheduled and completed within a week. Team was very respectful of property...work completed in a professional manner...everything was completed and cleaned up within a few hours. I have a Japanese Maple in my yard and it was looking a little shabby. Paul came out and shaped, and pruned it. I looked and had a hard time seeing where it had been cut, then I looked in the bed of his truck and it was overflowing with branches with red leaves. I couldn't believe how much how much came off and yet it looked completely natural. Then he explained all about the species of tree and how it needs to be handled. Extremely knowledgeable.

I was on a time crunch to get an assessment from a Certified Tree Expert for 2 trees on a prospective property I was going to buy and Paul and team were very prompt and professional at getting that done me. I receive a very clear itemized work order with detailed information at a great price. It was exactly what I needed! A highly professional company catering to the needs of the customer.

From the initial phone call, to the actual clean up, service was excellent. initial phone call for service was made on April 10th, had an estimate by April 11th, an appointment by the 14th and service on the 15th. The young lady that led the team and her crew were very professional and friendly. From start to finish, the whole job took less that an hour. Very pleased with the results.

Paul and team did an amazing job removing several large trees and trimming many others to restore their health. His team worked very hard, they cleaned up and really took their time moving the heavy equipment around to minimize the damage to my yard. Incredible work. I had a twenty to thirty foot white pine that was too close to the house along with four dead cedars, three of which had blown over from recent storms. The area is wide open and the only thing left is a nice pile of pine shavings from stump grinding. Tree Awareness has got it figured out; will use them again for sure.

I had a mid-sized, black walnut tree in my backyard that was surrounded by other trees I wanted to make sure that the other trees weren't damaged during removal of the black walnut. Tree Awareness was very careful and did a lot of extra work to insure that none of the other trees were affected.by the tree removal. Great work!
